In 1998, Tom and Katy Hochstetler took a leap of faith and moved from Kansas to Estes Park, where they bought the Silver Moon Inn, raising their kids right by Fall River. The family continued to grow their dream of providing exceptional Estes Park lodging with the addition of Hotel Estes in 2012, Appenzell Inn in 2013, and Estes Mountain

The family continued to grow their dream of providing exceptional Estes Park lodging with the addition of Hotel Estes in 2012, Appenzell Inn in 2013, and Estes Mountain Inn in 2019. Today, their children Adam, Susie, and Hannah manage this collection of four independent boutique hotels under the name Hochstetler Resorts, all committed to delivering warm, reliable hospitality in the heart of Estes Park.
